It's nearly summer ball season, meaning universities are starting to reveal their line ups for a night of music and partying.
Professor Green is set to headline this year's show at Canterbury Christ Church University, taking place on Friday June 10th. Other acts include Jodie Connor, Modestep, Beat A Maxx, Russo, States of Emotion, and Clacket Lane.

Last year's show, headlined by Feeder, proved to be a big success. In comparison some students feel underwhelmed by this year's acts.
Tom Howell, a second year student reveals: "Last year was pretty good with Feeder. They're a good band and everyone knows their songs. This year though, not many people know Professor Green, he's pretty new. Though I'll probably still go."
"I'm really disappointed," says Duncan McPherson, another student. "I was looking forward to going but the line up is rubbish."
Is there any hope for this year's event? The Student Union's Officer Matthew Stone remains positive: "There's no bands which is a little bit annoying, but it should be good. I'm looking forward to the dodgems and the food."
At the University of Kent the announcement of McFly has been met with mixed reactions. A Facebook page in protest of the act has been set up, with over 2,000 people signing up.
Many students have commented on the page. Robert Hollier says: "I didn't think Kent Union could go any lower, the line up is way worse than last years and I didn't even go to last years..."
Others are still anticipating the event, "I for one am very much looking forward to them attending our summer ball," says Nathan Hassall, "as there is not really any better bands out there."
Rumours are now spreading that the reaction has lead to Mcfly being cancelled. But while arguing continues, many other students have pointed out that for the most part they'll probably be drinking too much to care.
